Stoke City boss Mark Hughes was delighted with two-goal Peter Odemwingie after victory over West Ham United.
Hughes says Odemwingie is quickly justifying the swap deal that took Kenwyne Jones to Cardiff during the January transfer window.
"If you see Peter around the place you just can't keep a smile off his face," he observed. "He's a happy, confident player at the moment and confidence and contentment are huge things to have."
He said his cracking second goal on Saturday came as no great surprise to those working with the 32-year-old former West Brom favourite.
"He's got that capability. He's got a good, clean strike on him and I see that in training."
