Stoke City boss Mark Hughes isn't a fan of a winter World Cup.
FIFA intend to stage the 2022 tournament just before Christmas.
Hughes said: "It's a long way off and there's obviously going to be a lot of discussions until it kicks off.
"I think people will have to compromise. We probably suffer more than most because we traditionally have games over the Christmas period.
"I'm sure Qatar will put on a show and the facilities will be outstanding, but it doesn't feel as though that's when the World Cup should be.
"It should be a summer tournament. But it's still a long way off and so there's a lot of communication and consultation before everybody is happy in inverted commas."
