Stoke City boss Mark Hughes is looking forward to their match-up with Chelsea.

Hughes acknowledges the task of gaining a first Premier League point at Stamford Bridge - at the club's seventh attempt - but insists Chelsea will respect their visitors.

"I know for a fact that Jose Mourinho has a healthy respect for what we do as a team and a club," he revealed.

"I think you saw from his reaction to winning here (in December) that he knows that if you get a positive result here that's a real marker in the sand.

"I've always felt that whenever my teams have gone up against Chelsea we have tried to give a good account of ourselves."
