Stoke City boss Mark Hughes insists Peter Crouch is not for sale.

Crouch is being linked with Tony Pulis' West Bromwich Albion.

But Hughes said: "I read the papers, but there's nothing in it. People are putting two and two together and making five.

"Peter is a big part of what we're doing here and what we are trying to do moving forward. He knows what I think of him as a player and as a person.

"You saw by his performance against United that he wasn't bothered by any speculation. His future is with us."
