Stoke boss Hughes delighted with his three attacking signings

Stoke City boss Mark Hughes was delighted with three of his signings for victory over West Ham United.

Peter Odemwingie netted twice in Saturday's 3-1 win over West Ham, Marko Arnautovic again impressed on home soil and Stephen Ireland justified his first league start of 2014.

"They want to get better and want to have an impact," said Hughes. "They've had difficult times at different places, but now they've come to a club, a structure and an environment that will help them. It's the right place at the right time in their careers.

"It's important as a management team to manage their qualities - and if you give them good work and a bit of focus they can reward you 10-fold."
