Stoke boss Hughes defends Arnautovic body language

Stoke City boss Mark Hughes has defended Marko Arnautovic's body language.

Arnautovic, who is likely to start his first league game since August 24 when Stoke travel to Sunderland tomorrow (3pm), has often stood accused by fans of lacking interest and letting his head drop.

"Sometimes it's frustration more with himself when things don't quite go right, rather than any lack of effort or focus," said Hughes.

"He's a confidence player and when his confidence is high he's a real threat. But when things don't go your way, it's important you don't beat yourself up. We've spoken about that and he knows it."
