Stoke City boss Mark Hughes admits he's a big fan of Southampton striker Dani Osvaldo.
Hughes was Fulham manager when he tried to sign Osvaldo from Spanish outfit Espanyol.
"He's going to be a good player," Hughes now says of the 27-year-old Argentinian.
"He was at Espanyol when I tried to sign him. I had been over to Spain on numerous occasions, but he went to Italy in the end.
"When Southampton did that bit of business in the summer (for around £13m) I thought that's a really good acquisition.
"I think he's still finding his feet, but once he does he will be a good player for them."
