Stoke City are among a raft of clubs keen on released Reading striker Leroy Lita.

The Evening Gazette says Lita is now a free agent and the number of clubs who have publicly been linked with him is almost endless.

However the main interest seems to be coming from Middlesbrough, Stoke, Crystal Palace, Bristol City, Doncaster Rovers, Nottingham Forest, QPR, Hibs, Leeds and Wycombe.

Palace are said to be favourites so far, though Lita is in a strong position and can bide his time.
