Stoke attacker Diouf confident proving himself Premier League class

Stoke City striker Mame Diouf is confident he is proving himself Premier League class.

Diouf left England three years ago after a difficult period with Manchester United.

He told The Sentinel: "I feel better suited to the Premier League now. I have more maturity. Since I left England (for Hannover in 2012) I've played a lot of games. I am more of a complete player.

"Before I didn't have a lot of experience, but Stoke called me and gave me the chance to do it again in the Premier League.

"I learned back then about the Premier League, so now is the time for me to just enjoy playing. I'm trying to enjoy that chance as much as I can."
