Stoke City are interested in acquiring the services of Fulham right-back Ryan Fredericks, according to reports from the Stoke Sentinel.

City clearly need to improve their squad over the January transfer window in order to avoid relegation this season and according to reports, the Potters are eyeing a swoop for Fredericks.

Fredericks has been one of the star defenders in the English Championship and Stoke will be able to sign the 25-year-old for a cut-price fee of around £3million as his contract at Craven Cottage expires at the end of the season.
