Ryan Stevenson has walked out on Heart of Midlothian amidst the clubs crippling financial situation.
Jambos players have received about £1000 of payment for the last three months as Vladimir Romanov continues to battle economically and the prospect of playing for free until next year has become too much for Stevenson who has told the Edinburgh club he no longer wants to play for them.
The 27-year old forward has six months left on his current deal but has notified manager Paulo Sergio he no longer wants to be considered for selection.
