AC Milan striker Stephan El Shaarawy is upset with the lack of starts he's had this season.
El Shaarawy has been demoted to the bench for Milan's last three matches.
"I don't know if I will play [on Sunday against Verona] because the Coach has not named his team yet," El Shaarawy said.
"However, what I can say is that I'm fine, as I have been for the last three games. After the match against Juve, I had fully recovered and my absences were technical choices.
"The only thing I can say is that when I am called upon, I will give my all. I want to prove myself.
"[The national team] is absolutely one of my goals. I had started the season well, putting in a good performance against Lazio, but then I was benched three times in a row.
"There is a little sorrow and annoyance, but this year there are many of us and there is so much competition. I'm training well and trying to do my best."
