Stefan Dimitrov has been released by Chicago Fire.
The Bulgarian forward appeared in 12 games for the Fire, making his MLS debut as a starter against D.C. United June 13, 2009.
He appeared five times this season, making his first league appearance against Chivas USA May 1.
