Standard Liege midfielder Steven Defour says he is being watched by Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson.
Belgian press reports state Ferguson sent him a letter after he picked up a long-term foot injury in September.
And Defour confirmed: "He [Ferguson[ addressed the letter to Standard. It is great that they are watching me but I do not want people to think I am going to Manchester United, which is by no means the case. But, if they come, I would obviously be interested."
