Rami Gershon has agreed a deal to join Celtic on an initial six-month loan.
The Israeli defender will join the Hoops at their winter training camp in Marbella after flying into Glasgow late last week to finalise the move.
Gershon's agent Dudu Dahan has suggested a transfer will be complete once his client obtains his working permit papers and also revealed that the 24-year olds initial loan has a further option of a permanent three-year deal.
Gershon arrived in Belgium in 2010 but has struggled for game time at Liege and was subsequently loaned to fellow Belgian Pro League club Kortrijk for a season-long spell.
