St Mirren striker Esmael Goncalves has been suspended by the Scottish Football Association for diving.
The Portuguese forward, on loan from Rio Ave, went down under pressure from Emilio Izaguirre with referee Bobby Madden pointing to the spot for Paul McGowan to force a 1-1 draw with Celtic on the weekend.
The decision incensed Celtic and in the aftermath of the match, Goncalves has been banned retrospectively by the SFA.
Goncalves, who is free to take on Kilmarnock on Wednesday night, was in breach of Disciplinary Rule 202 which refers to 'causing an official to make an incorrect decision with an act of simulation.' St Mirren have until Thursday to respond to the proposed sanction.
