St Mirren clash another cup final for Hearts - Locke

Heart of Midlothian manager Gary Locke insists his mindset will not change as he prepares for this weekend's meeting with St Mirren.

The Jambos remain rooted to the foot of the Scottish Premier League table with a winless streak of four matches but Locke suggests he will change nothing as they await the visit of the Buddies who sit second bottom on just two points.

"They are all big games. Since the season started every game is a cup final for us because of the situation we are in," said Locke whose side was hit with a 15-point deduction before the season kicked off.

"Obviously St Mirren are the team above us but we are going into this game no differently from any other.

"It's a home game, we are going to try and win it, but it's just as important as the next five or six games coming up.

"Psychologically it would be a huge win but we watched them the other night and, once they got a goal ahead, they looked as if their confidence was coming back.

"We have 38 games to eat into the points deduction and that's what we aim to do."
