Tottenham winger Andros Townsend has found himself in transfer limbo.
The Telegraph says Townsend fears that he has been caught in the middle of a transfer stand-off between Tottenham and Southampton over Morgan Schneiderlin.
It is understood that Tottenham are willing to reject all offers from Southampton for Townsend unless they agree to let midfielder Schneiderlin move to White Hart Lane.
Southampton have turned down one offer of around £10 million for Schneiderlin, who they value at more than £25 million, and are adamant that he will not be allowed to leave St Mary's this transfer window.
QPR are also interested in Townsend but Harry Redknapp is looking for loan deals and that would not appeal to Spurs and their chairman, Daniel Levy.
