Tottenham winger Nacer Chadli says he owes his current form to Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany.
It was the City captain who made the recommendation that has helped transform Chadli into a wonderfully effective component of Tottenham's midfield.
The subject of their discussion was diet and the outcome was a trip to Hotel Terme Merano in Italy, where Chadli acquired the knowledge that saw him return this season lighter, fitter and faster.
He revealed to the Mail on Sunday: "I asked Vincent about a place to get help with my diet and he told me about a place he had been to that was good.
"It is a place to relax and learn and I felt very good relaxing there. I felt totally new."
