Edouard Mendy has rejected a new contract offer from Chelsea.

A move to Tottenham is now being discussed as they seek to replace veteran No1 Hugo Lloris.

The Sun says Mendy has rejected a six-year contract offer at Chelsea and is set to be moved on.

While reluctant to do business with Spurs, Chelsea will be prepared to sell the Senegal international to their London rivals.

Mendy, 31, is keen on the move given he will go there as Tottenham's new No1.
