Leyton Orient have enjoyed a shirt selling windfall after Tottenham striker Harry Kane took a sponsorship deal.
Kane, who enjoyed his first taste of senior football during a loan at Orient in 2011, is sponsoring the kits for the 2020/21 season.
The deal is worth around £100,000.
The Daily Mail says ten per cent of the profit from each shirt sale will go to the chosen charity and since the deal was announced on May 14, Orient have received orders for 3,010 jerseys.
That is over 25 per cent more than they shipped throughout the 2019/20 campaign. In the first 24 hours alone after Kane's gesture, they racked up more than half of last year's total.
