Tottenham aren't giving up on bringing AS Roma GM Franco Baldini to White Hart Lane.
The London Evening Standard says it is believed that Spurs have yet to examine seriously other options for the position and that they still remain optimistic about luring Baldini.
Spurs boss Andre Villas-Boas had a fruitful relationship with Antero Henrique during his time at FC Porto and he believes changing the management structure at Tottenham will enable the club to be more successful in the transfer market.
It is possible that Baldini will offer to leave Roma after the Italian Cup Final against city rivals Lazio on Sunday, although he is also involved in trying to bring in a new manager. Massimiliano Allegri, currently in charge of AC Milan, is the favourite for the job.
