The father of Dnipro winger Yevhen Konoplyanka expects his son to wait until the summer before making his next move.

Dnipro claim Konoplyanka, who is wanted by Tottenham, is in talks with AS Roma.

But Dad, Oleg, says: "He wants to stay [at Dnipro] and I think he will very probably remain here until his contract expires.

"He probably won't sign the contract with Roma."

Snapping up the Ukraine winger on a Bosman would certainly suit thrifty Spurs chairman Daniel Levy.
