Hugo Lloris admits having showdown talks with Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas when he was left out earlier this season.
Villas-Boas maintained Lloris would have to wait to take over from Brad Friedel.
But the France captain, 26, admitted: "Yes there were discussions - it couldn't go on.
"But this belongs in the past and all is positive for me here."
