Lille defender Simon Kjaer admits he could put himself in the Premier League shop window this week.
Kjaer hopes to start for Denmark against England at Wembley.
The Dane, who has been targeted by Tottenham and Manchester United in the past, comes from a Liverpool-mad family.
"I am enjoying the success with Lille and enjoying the French league right now, and I understand why the Premier League clubs pick so many players from this league.
"Ligue 1 is much more physical than Serie A and even the Bundesliga, but of course not as much as in the Premier League.
"So I see the French league as a good stepping stone to an English club. The Premier League is the toughest league in the world with some of the biggest clubs in football and a great depth in quality."
