Aston Villa midfielder Fabian Delph is happy to run down his contract this season.

Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur are expected to battle it out for the England midfielder when the green light is given, at the moment it seems that light is very much on amber.

Delph is out of contract at the end of the season and is expected to weigh up his options and pick the club who can offer him the highest level of football, says the Birmingham Mail.

It means he is likely to wait and see what happens in terms of Champion's League places.
