Republic of Ireland legend Robbie Keane is furious at being snubbed for a coaching role within the setup.
Keane was hoping he would be part of Stephen Kenny's team in Ireland, but he was snubbed for a job.
He even had a contract with the FAI, and is now negotiating a payoff, per the Daily Mail.
Keane expected to stay in a role that he had maintained since November 2018.
But Kenny wanted Keith Andrews and Damien Duff, who will serve as his second and third in command.
Keane did not even get an under-21 job offer.
He does still have a job at Middlesbrough, where he is no.2 to former Leeds United teammate Jonathan Woodgate.
