Tottenham legend Glenn Hoddle is full of praise for Harry Kane after this season's campaign.

Hoddle wrote in the Mail on Sunday: "Harry Kane has been quality, scoring right foot, left foot, with his head, inside the box and outside the box. Now we have to be patient and give him time to mature.

"Like all strikers, he is bound to hit a spell when he doesn't score. But what a refreshing impact he has made. And the fact he is delighted to play for the England Under 21s this summer is magnificent.

"His lead will be followed by younger players now. Hopefully fewer will bail out in the future."
