Tottenham have dropped out of the battle for Southampton midfielder Adam Lallana.
The Daily Star says Tottenham, under new boss Mauricio Pochettino, are no longer in the hunt for the England midfielder.
Liverpool made a £25m 'take-it-or-leave-it' bid for the 26-year-old on Friday and have agreed a deal for Southampton forward Rickie Lambert, who underwent a medical yesterday.
Lallana, though, is proving tougher to get over the line, with Southampton keen to hold onto their captain.
