Tottenham are encouraging AS Monaco to take Emmanuel Adebayor off their hands.
The People says Tottenham will attempt to off-load Adebayor this summer after running out of patience with the £100,000-a-week striker.
With Adebayor on big wages, Spurs chairman Daniel Levy knows he could be hard to shift. The African star wasn't keen to take a pay cut when he left City to join Tottenham, but the two clubs reached a compromise with the striker.
Other options for Adebayor could be Russia, China or the Middle East where clubs might be prepared to meet his wage demands.
