Tottenham have closed an agreement for Portsmouth striker Jermain Defoe.
The Daily Mail says Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp sealed the transfer of Portsmouth striker Defoe for £15.75million in the early hours of this morning.
The north London club secured the deal for the 26-year-old after Spurs chairman Daniel Levy and Portsmouth chief executive Peter Storrie lashed out the transfer fee.
