Tottenham aren't giving up on Porto midfielder Joao Moutinho.
The Mirror says Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy will launch a January bid for Porto star Moutinho - as Spurs mount a major challenge for the Champions League places.
Levy narrowly missed out on Moutinho in August - new manager Andre Villas-Boas had identified his Portuguese countryman as his main target, but the clubs failed to agree terms before the transfer window closed.
Now, Levy has made moves to set the wheels in motion again.
He will try to get Moutinho next month, despite Porto being reluctant to sell - even for £20million-plus.
