Departing Real Madrid attacker Gareth Bale is being linked with a return to the UK.

Bale is off contract at the end of the season, but wants to play on as he plans to take part in the Qatar World Cup.

Wales will meet Scotland in June for a place in this year's World Cup.

And should Wales win, Bale intends to return to the UK and sign a short term deal in order to keep fit for Qatar.

Tottenham and Cardiff City are early candidates for the Wales captain.
