Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp is unsure if the club can keep hold of Luka Modric.

Modric is a target for Manchester United and Chelsea.

Redknapp admitted: "I'm sure the club is looking to tie Luka up on a contract. But I honestly don't know how far that has gone.

"That is what we were talking about earlier this season.

"When Chelsea came in for him last summer, the chairman was talking about getting him a new deal, but where it is at now I don't know."
