Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp has revealed he's turned down a foreign bid for goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes.
Gomes, who arrived from PSV Eindhoven in the summer for around £7million, was guilty of a series of blunders earlier in the season but has not put a foot wrong for almost two months following the arrival of coach Tony Parks.
"I know a club from abroad that want to give us our money back for him," Redknapp said. "That's genuine.
"I've been looking round maybe for a little bit of goalkeeping cover if I can find one but this boy's shown unbelievable character.
"He's played every game, he hasn't hidden and that was with a few injuries which he could have not played with - a hand injury which the physios were saying to me they're not sure whether he can play with it."
