Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp has praise Steve Bruce for his work at Wigan Athletic.

Ahead of their FA Cup tie, Redknapp told the club's website: "Steve has done a great job there.

"He's a great lad as well. He's put a good team together and they are on a good run.

"If you spoke to him a month ago he might have said that he's in a real scrap for relegation - that is the whole league at the moment. A couple of wins and you're up the table. It's been an amazing season in this division this year.

"They are going well and he bought some good players and built a good team."
