Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp wants to sell Gareth Bale this month.
The Mirror says Redknapp is losing patience with the £5million left-back and wants to sell him or use him as bait in a deal for Stewart Downing.
Bale, 19, has been blamed for recent defensive mistakes and Redknapp is scouting for new left-backs, with Aston Villa's out-of-favour Nicky Shorey on the radar.
