Brazil and Tottenham star Richarlison has come to the defense of his countryman at the World Cup.

The attacker was furious when a German newspaper labelled teammate Neymar arrogant.

Brazil are the bookies favorites to win the World Cup, while Neymar is in outstanding form so far this season.

Neymar took a picture of his Brazil shorts and added a sixth star to the badge on an Instagram post, indicating they were ready to bring a sixth World Cup to the South American nation.

"They are arrogant," said Richarlison in response to German newspaper Bild labeling Neymar arrogant for that post.

"We're just dreamers. We are dreaming of this sixth star and we will pick it up, whether they like it or not. That reporter is an a**hole."
