Sporting Lisbon striker Ricky van Wolfswinkel has admitted that heading to England would be a 'step up' for his career.
The Dutchman is attracting interest from the likes of Manchester United, Newcastle United and Liverpool following this season's performance in Portugal and has revealed that he could be one day open to a move to the Premier League to join some fellow stars from his homeland.
"It's a step to take maybe in the future, but we will see about that when it happens.
"If someone comes along and wants to pay a lot of money to the club and to me, then maybe we would speak about that. But we would both have to be happy about it. I signed for five years here because I really wanted to be here and I am really happy.""I know that a lot of Dutch players play in England. It's a really good competition and I do see it as a step up," van Wolfswinkel told Goal.com.
