Sporting Lisbon president Bruno de Carvalho insists they're not seeking to sell William Carvalho.
The midfielder is a top target for Manchester United and AS Monaco ahead of the summer market.
"We are calm, although there are rumors every day in the newspapers about the sale of our players. Sporting is not a club that only sells players," De Carvalho.
"If a club pays 45 million it is not necessary to talk, but I do not think William wants to leave Sporting.
"In the current situation, it is more likely that he'll sign a new contract. Personally, I say that the guy is happy in Sporting."
