Sporting Lisbon signing Jeffren Suarez admits he's disappointed having to leave Barcelona.
The winger has joined Sporting in search of regular first team football.
"I am sad because I did not want the leave the club I love, but I also have a huge excitement about this new challenge at Sporting, and who knows, maybe someday I can return to Barcelona," Jeffren told Cadena Cope.
"[Coach Pep Guardiola] told me I would not have much playing time, so I thought, together with my family, I'd join another club, where I could play more.
"I appreciate the coach's sincerity. He gave me the opportunity to play for the best team in the world."
