Sporting Kansas City have re-signed Honduran international Roger Espinoza.
The 28-year old defensive midfielder is back in MLS after spending the past two years with English club Wigan Athletic.
Espinoza was released by the Latics last month in order to allow him to return to Sporting where he spent the first five years of his professional career.
"I'm thrilled to be back in Kansas City," Espinoza told the club's official website.
"I always knew I would come back some day and I could not be more excited to re-join this club. I'm ready to get back to work and help this team win another championship."
During his time with Wigan, where he helped the club win the 2012/13 FA Cup, Espinoza made 57 appearances in all competitions.
