Sporting CP coach Ruben Amorim is being linked with Liverpool.

Amorim has been raised as a candidate for the job after Jurgen Klopp's announcement that he will leave Anfield at the end of the season.

Correio da Manha says the Portuguese has been monitored by Liverpool over the past 18 months.

The 39 year-old guided Sporting to a league title during the 2020/21 and has the club currently top of the table.

He has been in charge at Sporting since 2020.
