Spartak Moscow players have slated Chelsea's canteen.

Blues owner Roam Abramovich lent the Russian players the use of the facilities ahead of their UEFA Cup clash with Chelsea's rivals Tottenham tonight.

But striker Artur Maloyan told the Russian media the food was not up to scratch.

He said: "I like everything here except the food. We saw John Terry, Ricardo Carvalho and Joe Cole using the same canteen as us. Those guys must be pretty undemanding.

"They sit on plastic chairs which are more suitable for outdoor BBQ parties and even eat from disposable plates here."
