Aiden McGeady has sparked a mad transfer scramble as he prepares to ask away from Celtic.
The Scottish Sun says sources in Russia say Spartak Moscow confident they can get their man for a fee in the region of £10million.
They claim the main stumbling block is their reluctance to pay the fee in one lump sum, as Celtic wish.
McGeady would prefer to remain in Britain, though - and he is unlikely to be short of suitors.
Former Old Firm managers Martin O'Neill and Alex McLeish are on red alert to snap up the winger.
But Aston Villa and Birmingham City will face a fight for McGeady, 24, from others, including Tottenham, Everton, Sunderland, Newcastle and German giants Bayern Munich and Schalke.
Celtic insist they've heard nothing official from their Republic of Ireland star, but it's believed McGeady could table a transfer request this week.
