Roma coach Luciano Spalletti says his players lack "battling spirit" after defeat at home to Juventus.
"The Bianconeri showed more consistency and strength. Aside from some good moves, the final result can't be argued," shrugged the Coach.
"We were not helped by poor fitness levels of some players, who are still struggling to make an impact."
Marco Cassetti gave away the first goal with a disastrous defensive error in the centre-circle, sparking Diego's counter-attack.
"It is too easy to find the negative aspect after you concede a goal. It's a shame for him and he is mortified.
"[Daniele] De Rossi, on the other hand, is a leader. Not everyone has his desire to fight for the result.
"Overall we lack battling spirit and fitness. We tried today, it went badly. Roma are an excellent squad, but we have to improve our stamina.
"We need to get important players back in shape like Juan, [Max] Tonetto, [Simone] Perrotta and Cicinho."
