Spain's Cadiz chasing Kilmarnock striker Fernandez

Spanish outfit Cadiz are keen on luring Kilmarnock forward David Fernandez back to Spain during the January transfer window.

Cadiz, currently mid-table in Spain's second tier Liga BBVA, are managed by former Killie midfielder Antonio Calderon who played with Fernandez at Airdrie.

It is understood that Cadiz top scorer Lucas Lobles has agreed a move to Mexican side Tigres and Calderon has targeted Fernandez as his replacement as the Andalucian side push for promotion.
