Spain coach Vicente del Bosque feels there's too many foreigners in Spanish club football. Del Bosque made the comments when discussing Real Madrid's win over Barcelona.
"I loved it. We saw some excellent football as well as some moments of weakness for both sides - first Real Madrid, then Barcelona. What did come across is that Real Madrid is incredibly strong and Barça gradually petered out.
"We should be proud to have two such fantastic teams. But there are only four Spanish players at each club - it's a similar story at Atlético, Sevilla, Valencia. There are too many foreign players in our league at the moment - not that I am against foreign players coming over here. While on the other hand, it's a great moment for the various youth academies.
"Clubs are worried about their youth teams - which is why they are working harder - there is no other solution. When the economy isn't strong, investing in the youth team could end up saving a lot of clubs."
