Southampton winger Sadio Mane is among five Premier League players who have been nominated for the 2014 African Player of the Year award.
The Senegalese star is joined by Manchester City's Yaya Toure, Crystal Palace's Yannick Bolasie, Swansea City's Wilfried Bony and Tottenham Hotspur's Emmanuel Adebayor.
Toure, who won the award in 2013, will be aiming to join Samuel Eto'o as having won the prize four times.
In all, 25 players have been nominated and the winner will be chosen on January 8 2015.
