Southampton manager Ronald Koeman is of the belief that Saints fans will give a positive reception to Mauricio Pochettino this weekend.
The Argentine left St Mary's to take the reins at Tottenham last summer after spending 16 months at the helm of the Saints.
This Saturday he comes to the south coast as an enemy but his incumbent Koeman feels the Southampton faithful will remember the great job he did during his spell at the club.
"Sometimes if you go as a Barcelona player to Madrid the reception is difficult, and sometimes in Holland," Koeman said.
"But, okay, I think the reception for Mauricio normally has to be good because he did a great job for Southampton. I like him as a person and as a coach and we have a good contact."
